The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles Foundation is pleased to introduce Maïka Assels, a new member of its Board of Directors. After completing her studies in Humanities at the Cégep, she is currently finishing her training at the Quebec Bar School. Her dynamism, knowledge, and passion make her a valuable asset. Here is what she has to say about her involvement: «I have always enjoyed being involved in organizations in the region. For me, retaining young people in the Gaspé Peninsula, education, the region, and its influence are very important issues. I want to contribute to the Foundation by bringing all my interests, passions, and concerns to the benefit of the young people who will thrive in our beautiful region!» Thank you, Maïka, for supporting the success of the students of Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles and for participating in the Foundation's mission.

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles Foundation is pleased to introduce Samuel Laflamme-Méthot, its newest member of the Board of Directors! Here's what he has to say about his involvement: «I'm involved with various organizations in the Rocher-Percé RCM, such as the SADC du Rocher-Percé (Secretary-Treasurer), Parc du Bourg de Pabos (President), SDEP / École de permaculture (Secretary-Treasurer), and Ateliers à Travers. I also have experience as a board member with regional and national organizations. My interest in joining the Foundation's Board is to contribute to its development and bring a fresh perspective as a newcomer to the Cégep and the philanthropic community.» Thank you, Samuel, for supporting student success. Our Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization in good standing, brings together people who share its mission and interests. Its members are all donors of 100 $ and more. Members can be part of the college population, be financial partners or community stakeholders.

Annually, during its general meeting, the said members ensure the vitality of the Foundation and participate in the decisions and the choice of its administrators.
